La Petite Maison

La Petite Maison is a beautifully
proportioned little house which has been completely restored to
provide living accommodation for two people on one floor, and is
accessed via the external stone staircase and terrace from the Courtyard.
We believe our visitors value their privacy
and, whilst the house is completely self-contained, because it is
situated in the same Courtyard, we will not let La Petite Maison
if La Loge is occupied by others, except out of season. The benefit
of this property is that it provides additional accommodation for
friends or family occupying La Loge, or a cosy, out-of-season house
for two people.
All rooms have traditional style floor tiles, with
high poplar and oak beamed ceilings, and exposed stonework. The
accommodation comprises a lounge/dining room with corner kitchen,
double bedroom and en-suite bathroom.

The large living room has an imposing
inglenook fireplace with cast-iron Godin wood-burning stove and
original stone sink set into the wall beneath one of the windows.
The old oak table and traditional rush-seated chairs are complemented
by other items of furniture to create a truly charming and comfortable
ambiance. In one corner is the compact yet well-equipped kitchen
area incorporating electric fan oven and hob, microwave, fridge
with freezer compartment, coffee-maker and electric kettle. There
are adequate supplies of cooking utensils, attractive crockery,
cutlery and glassware not only for two occupants but also for any
visitors you may have. A washing machine and tumble drier are also
provided.

The bedroom has a new double bed. Duvets and UK size pillows are
provided, and linen and towels can be supplied at a small extra
charge.
The bathroom, which leads off the bedroom, has
a bath with shower over.

All rooms are equipped with electric convector
heaters for use if required.
Full central heating is installed and may be used
by arrangement at a supplement of £20.00 per week.
